First try on Flex 2

I think Flex 2 is a formular framework of Flash application, much like VB/C++ to C, it pick out some params from each type of visual object into a script (mxml, xml formatted script), compile automatically depends on those properties.

The alpha 1 release is a memory beast, for my laptop without 1G memory it runs painful and slowly. I have to delete useless mxml to save my poor memory, compile always slowly.

I think Flex is mostly for enterprise domain, fast, easy modified, cheaper(less design tasks), standardized business style flash coding.

Wow, Flash 9 “Blaze” and AS3

I read from Guy’s blog comment by Mike Downey, there will be AS3-alpha next spring so. I’m interested more on Binary Socket it will support.
We will include full support for AS3 in the next full release of Flash. That said, we do want to allow people who use the Flash authoring tool to start learning and experimenting with AS3 so we plan to release (for the first time ever, I believe) a very early public preview release (alpha) of the next release of Flash, codenamed “BLAZE” in the Spring of 2006 when the Flash Player 8.5 ships. This preview release will be made available to anyone who has purchased Flash Professional 8 or Studio 8. Mike Downey | Flash Product Manager | macromedia
